(Lake Benton, MN) — Two people are dead after a shooting in southern Minnesota. Police were called to a reported medical emergency at a home in Lake Benton yesterday afternoon. Officers arrived to find a woman dead at the scene and a man with serious injuries. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died. A gun was recovered at the scene. There’s no word on exactly what happened, but the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says there is no threat to the public. An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
