(Jamestown, ND) — The family of a young autistic girl is suing the Anne Carlson Center in Jamestown, alleging she was physically and sexually abused by an employee there. The Anne Carlson Center is a non-profit organization that provides support and services to people with developmental disabilities or delays. The girl’s family claims she was abused by Michael Hunt-Walters in 2019, who was charged with gross sexual imposition in 2020, but the charges were dismissed two months later due to a lack of probable cause. The lawsuit is seeking at least 50-thousand dollars in damages, and claims negligence on the part of the organization
