(Bismarck, ND) — Help is on the way for North Dakotans who need help paying their heating bills. Applications are open for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program through May 1st. The initiative can also help residents pay for heating equipment repairs and replacements. Renters and homeowners can apply through H-H-S-dot-N-D-dot-gov. Since the service began, the state has helped more than 12-thousand qualifying residents.
