New Grant Program Aims To Optimize Ranching

(Bismarck, ND) — A new grant program introduced by North Dakota Agricultural Commissioner Doug Goehring aims to help optimize ranching operations. It’s called the Livestock Development and Planning Program, and it provides up to 12-thousand dollars to counties. The funding can be used to assess things like infrastructure considerations, water access, and waste management to help make ranches run more efficiently. Commissioner Goehring says he wants to spread the word about the program, and if you’re interested, you should contact your local county commission office.
