(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck man who’s facing charges for allegedly attacking a woman and threatening her has pleaded not guilty. Police say Jason Levell went to the home of a woman he was dating last December, beat her, and threatened to shoot her in front of her children. Police were called and Levell reportedly fled, throwing a gun he had with him over a fence, where officers recovered it. He’s banned from possessing guns due to a 2022 felony conviction in Florida. Levell faces nine criminal charges, including terrorizing and unlawful possession of a firearm, and his trial is set for April 10th.
