Four Injured In Two-Vehicle Crash

(Buffalo, ND) — Two drivers and two passengers are recovering after both of their cars collided on Highway 38 near Buffalo yesterday morning. The State Highway Patrol says a Ford High Rail pickup was headed west on the BNSF mainline track when it entered the crossing and into the path of a GMC Acadia. This caused the GMC to hit the passenger side of the Ford. Investigators say the stop arms and lights on Highway 38 were not down or activated at the time of the accident. Typically, BNSF High Rail vehicles such as pickup trucks do not trigger the automatic devices.
