Mediation In Timberwolves Ownership Dispute Fails, Arbitration Likely

(Minneapolis, MN) — The ongoing dispute over ownership of the Minnesota Timberwolves seems likely to wind up in arbitration. A mediation session between current owner Glen Taylor and buyers Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore was unsuccessful on Wednesday. Rodriguez and Lore say Taylor took the team off the market after they paid one-point-five-billion dollars for the Timberwolves last month. Taylor said the payment wasn’t made before the March 27th deadline. Any arbitration sessions are unlikely to happen before the end of the NBA playoffs.
