(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota leaders are putting their fingerprints on the future of artificial intelligence. Senator Mike Rounds and his bipartisan Senate AI working group recently released a new roadmap for AI. The report lays out policy topics that could be considered by the next Congress with a wide range of industries, such as healthcare, education and agriculture. Rounds says he wants to help make sure the U.S. has the best AI capabilities in the world because important sectors like national defense, financial services and power grid systems are relying on it right now.
