(Burlington, ND) — A Burlington man is dead after the pickup truck he was in was hit by a train early Wednesday morning. Officials say the man’s truck got stuck on train tracks near the intersection of Colton Avenue and Railway Street North shortly before 1:00 a.m., and the train hit the driver’s side of the vehicle. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his identity hasn’t been released. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating what led to the collision.
