Neo-Nazi Group Leader Sounds Off On Social Media About SD March

(Pierre, SD) — The leader of a Neo-Nazi group that held protests at the State Capitol and downtown Deadwood Saturday is going after Governor Noem on social media. C.A. Pohlhaus, who goes by “The Hammer,” runs the white supremacist group called the “Blood Tribe.” He responded to Noem’s statement about dispersing the protest on X Saturday, saying they weren’t escorted away prematurely and celebrated claims of taking a lap around the Governor’s Mansion while calling Noem names with emojis. Pohlhaus also revealed the reason behind the group’s protests, citing House Bill 10-76 which is a new state law that takes effect July 1st providing additional protection for Jewish people. South Dakota leaders, the Jewish Community of South Dakota and other groups have since spoken out condemning Saturday’s Neo-Nazi displays.
