(Grand Forks, ND) — A Grand Forks man is in custody after he allegedly crashed into a police vehicle Wednesday night. It happened at the intersection of Gateway Drive and Stanford Road, and police say both vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene. Police have identified the driver as 37-year-old Mark Mondor, and he faces charges of DUI and failure to submit to a chemical test. Both the officer and Mondor were treated for injuries at the scene and refused further medical treatment.
