Pierre, SD – May was Beef Month, and the South Dakota Beef Industry Council (SDBIC) took it as the perfect time to introduce the newest SDBIC campaign the “So Dak Best Burger” contest. This contest was held to highlight South Dakota Restaurants and the beef farmers and ranchers who work hard to produce high quality beef and to give consumers the chance to nominate their favorite So Dak restaurant and burger!
The SDBIC is excited to announce the Top 5 restaurants and burgers from the inaugural “So Dak Best Burger” contest! We asked you to nominate your favorite beef burger from any restaurant in South Dakota for their chance at being named So Dak’s Best Burger. Nominations were accepted May 1, 2024, to June 16, 2024, to celebrate May Beef Month and kick off summer grilling season. The So Dak Best Burger Top 5 will be anonymously judged from June 21 – July 21, 2024, with So Dak Best Burger being announced on August 1, 2024!
