(Minot, ND) — Meteorologists say western and central North Dakota will likely see a round of severe thunderstorms today. Cities like Williston, Watford City, Minot, and Bismarck will see the highest risk of severe storms this afternoon and evening, and the Storm Prediction Center has issued an Enhanced Risk of severe weather. The storms could produce very large hail and damaging winds up to 80 miles-per-hour. Some tornadoes will also be possible.
