Outdoor Heritage Fund Providing $4M In Project Funding

(Bismarck, ND) — The Outdoor Heritage Fund is providing 4-million dollars in funding for seven conservation and recreation projects in North Dakota. The money comes from oil and gas production tax revenue, and will go toward improvements at the Belfield Dam, the Badlands Restoration Project, the Bakken and Working Lands Program, and other projects. However, the proposed funding for improvements to a basketball court in Dunseith fell through due to a legal technicality.
