Over 200 Thousand Eggs Donated To A Food Drive For Iowa Children

(Iowa) — Rose Acre Farms, in partnership with the Iowa Egg Council and the HATCH for Hunger Program, donated 237,600 eggs to help food-insecure children in Iowa. The donation aims to provide essential protein to needy children, as statistics show that 43 percent of individuals served by the Food Bank of Iowa are children. The HATCH for Hunger Program connects farmers directly to hunger relief organizations to create a protein-secure supply chain. This initiative highlights the importance of addressing food insecurity among children and supporting organizations that work towards alleviating hunger in the community.
