(Minot, ND) — Staff may not have any air conditioning when they return to the Minot Public Schools administration building in about two weeks. The system hasn’t been working since the second week of June, and Superintendent Scott Faul says they’ve been making do with portable air-conditioning units and fans. Repairs are expected to cost anywhere from 400-thousand to one-million dollars. Faul says the age of the air conditioning system, combined with the fact that the parts it utilizes aren’t made anymore could make the repair process difficult and expensive.
