Children Who Drowned In Jamestown Crash Identified

News

(Jamestown, ND) — Authorities have identified the two young boys who drowned in Monday’s single-vehicle crash near Jamestown as ten-year-old Kamari Lawson and seven-year-old Logan Lawson. Investigators say it happened when the driver lost control of her SUV when a semi-truck passed her, which caused the vehicle to veer off I-94 and roll into a water-filled slough. A nine-year-old girl who was in the SUV remains in critical condition, and several other children suffered minor injuries. A total of seven children were inside the SUV at the time of the crash.
