(Sioux Falls, SD) — The roads in Minnehaha County are getting high marks. At a County Commission meeting Tuesday night, a representative from the company that assessed the quality of the roads said they are ”pretty impressive.” Stantec assessed all 347 miles of paved roads in the Minnehaha County and gave them a Pavement Quality Index of 75. The Stantec rep says they’re impressed with this number because they don’t see it a lot. The company also told the county that to maintain the current 75 PQI, it would cost more than 22-million dollars over a five-year span.
