Twins Walk-Off Against Phillies

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins took the rubber-match of their series against the Phillies with a 5-4 win at Target Field. The Twins trailed by three entering the bottom of the seventh, but Carlos Santana hit a game-tying double to cap off a three-run inning. In the ninth, Max Kepler hit a walk-off single to give Minnesota the victory. Matt Wallner homered in the victory, while Jhoan Duran earned his sixth win in relief. The Twins have won two of three and remain in second place in the AL Central at 56-and-45. Minnesota begins a series at Detroit tomorrow.
