Bismarck City Commission Approves 2025 Budget

(Bismarck, ND) — The Bismarck City Commission has approved next year’s budget, without any opposition and without a tax increase. The preliminary budget is roughly 404-million dollars, and the city finance director says property tax rates haven’t increased and will maintain the same mil levy. That mil level could actually decrease depending on how much Burleigh County contributes to public health. City commissioners are expected to give the budget a final approval in September.
