(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Sioux Falls budget for next year is on the table. Mayor Paul TenHaken presented his annual budget address as well as detailing the Capitol Program with the City Council yesterday. He says the budget is back to normal after running out of federal funds. The main focuses for investment are on infrastructure and public safety. The Capital Spending Plan that is established to address the city’s rapid growth and housing for the next few years to come is more than one billion dollars for the second year in a row. City Council is set to consider the proposed budget during meetings in September.
