Walz Non-Committal When Asked If He Would Accept VP Spot

Tim Walz

(St. Paul, MN) — Minnesota Governor Tim Walz isn’t ready to say if he wants to be Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate. Walz appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” yesterday and said only that he would “do what is in the best interest of the country” if he is offered a chance to run with Harris. When pressed for a more definitive answer, Walz would only say “We’ll cross paths when we get there.” Walz said he’s confident that Harris will win in November, calling former President Donald Trump’s behavior “weird” and saying people give Trump “way too much credit.”
