(Fort Totten, CO) — A Fort Totten man has been indicted on a second-degree murder charge. The suspect, identified as Kolby Jae McKay, prompted a lockdown at the Spirit Lake Reservation back in April after he was reported wanted, potentially armed, and dangerous. He later turned himself in. Authorities haven’t released much information on the crime, but say it happened on Native land. McKay faces up to life in prison.
