Gov. Noem Appoints 3 Judges to 2nd Judicial Circuit Court

(Pierre, SD) — Governor Noem is announcing the appointment of three judges to the 2nd Judicial Court. The governor’s office says Mandi Mowery, Jeff Clapper and the Honorable Eric Johnson were appointed Tuesday. Mowery has been a prosecutor in the Minnehaha County State’s Attorney Office for 17 years. Clapper became an Assistant U.S. Attorney in 2002 and this year was designated as Senior Litigation Counsel for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of South Dakota. Johnson currently serves as the Court Magistrate Judge and the Veterans Treatment Court Judge for the 2nd Circuit.
