(Grand Forks, ND) — A Grand Forks man is in custody on terrorizing charges after police say he threatened to shoot children. Police were called to an apartment building near Richard’s West Park on Sunday, and say a group of kids approached them, saying a man threatened to “kill, execute, and blow people up”. The man was identified as Jesse Skavlem, and allegedly admitted to making the threats when officers arrested him, but said they were directed at himself. He’s due court in September.
