Property Taxes Down In Proposed 2025 Minot City Budget

(Minot, ND) — Minot homeowners could see a decrease in their city property taxes next year. The city council has approved a preliminary budget of 227-point-seven-million dollars. The proposal comes with a 115-million-dollar levy request. For a Minot home valued at 100-thousand dollars, owners would see a decrease of just under 22 dollars in the city’s share of their property taxes. The council will hold a first reading of the budget on September 16th, followed by a second reading on October 7th.
