(Minot, ND) — AGT Foods has opened a new processing center in Minot to accommodate the rising popularity of gluten-free foods. The multi-million-dollar facility is just down the street from the State Fairgrounds, and will develop plant-based protein and gluten-free products. The company’s CEO says Minot provides a great logistical advantage, given the nearby intermodal facility and proximity to highways for transporting goods. The new facility is also expected to create 20 new jobs in Minot.
