(Baldwin, ND) — The Baldwin Greenhouse and Nursery is trying to open a corn maze, but things aren’t going to plan. The Burleigh County Planning and Zoning Commission denied a permit for the maze last month, citing a complaint from a neighbor, and the fact that there’s no ordinance for agri-tourism in the county. However, Burleigh County Commissioners are working on a new ordinance that could allow the maze to open. The commission is also planning a public hearing regarding the issue, which will be held within the next few meetings.
