(Bismarck, ND) — Reports are surfacing that Governor Burgum could be picked as former President Trump’s Secretary of State. Senator Kevin Cramer says based on discussions with people involved in Trump’s 2024 campaign, Burgum is in a position to pick whatever cabinet position he would like, if he wants one at all. Cramer also says that Burgum would also be easy to confirm because of his political credentials, and his ability to work across the aisle to get confirmed if support from Democrats becomes necessary.
