(Pierre, SD) — One runway rehab project is done at Pierre Regional Airport, while another should be complete next year. That’s according to the city, which announced yesterday the six-point-three-million-dollar rehabilitation project on the airport’s secondary crosswind runway was finished Tuesday. The runway got a new asphalt surface, new markings and new lights. Similar work on the airport’s primary runway is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2025.
