(Edgemont, SD) — A wildfire near the southwest corner of the state is 35-percent contained and is not spreading beyond the burned area. Officials say the fire started on Thursday and was caused by lightning. The fire covers 330 acres in the Black Hills National Forest. More than a hundred firefighters have been at the scene as South Dakota fire crews were joined by crews from Colorado, Nebraska and Wisconsin. As of Sunday, no evacuations or road closures had been ordered.
