One Dead, Three Injured In Dunham Park Shooting

(Sioux Falls, SD) — No arrests have been made following Sunday’s shooting in Sioux Falls that left one man dead and two others with life-threatening injuries. Sioux Falls Police say multiple handguns were used in the shooting that happened late Sunday afternoon when a large crowd gathered at Dunham Park. A police spokesperson said 29-year-old Josh Allen Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene. A 40-year-old who was shot in the face and a 27-year-old who was shot multiple times are both hospitalized. A 26-year-old shooting victim is also in the hospital, but his injuries are said to not be life-threatening. Police don’t know why the crowd was gathered in the park, but they believe “everybody knew each other.” The investigation is ongoing.
