(North Sioux City, SD) — A clean-up event is scheduled for this weekend at McCook Lake. The non-profit McCook Lake Izaak Walton League is organizing the event to help the area recover from the flood in June. League caretaker Renae Hansen said they need a lot of help cleaning up the “476 acres on this peninsula that we call the island.” The clean-up runs Saturday through Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
