Corbin Lampert Sentenced To Life In Prison For Bismarck Murder

(Bismarck, ND) — Twenty-year-old Corbin Lampert has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for the murder of 16-year-old Taryn Hohbein. She was shot to death during a drinking party at a Bismarck apartment last year. Lampert was found guilty of murder and unlawful possession of a firearm at his trial in April. His defense requested a 50-year sentence, but the judge rejected the request, saying Lampert never took responsibility for his crime.
