(Grand Forks, ND) — A Grand Forks man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for drug trafficking crimes. Twenty-two-year-old Jacob Lopez was arrested in March after police executed a search warrant at his apartment. Officers seized 186 grams of cocaine, 85 Xanax pills, drug paraphernalia, and digital scales. Lopez pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine with intent to deliver, along with several other charges. He will be on supervised probation for two years after he finishes his prison sentence.
