(Cleveland, OH) — The Minnesota Twins evened up their series against the Cleveland Guardians with a 4-1 win at Progressive Field. Matt Wallner broke a 1-1 tie with an RBI single in the top of the fifth, and Willi Castro extended Minnesota’s lead with a two-run homer in the eighth. Cole Sands earned his ninth win in relief, while Griffin Jax picked up his ninth save. The Twins remain a game-and-a-half ahead of Detroit for the final AL Wild Card spot at 80-and-71. Bailey Ober starts for Minnesota against Cleveland tonight.
