(Killdeer, ND) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 24-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash in the western part of the state. The crash happened Sunday morning on Highway 22 South, about 17 miles north of Killdeer, according to Highway Patrol. Officers’ reports say the truck he was driving overturned after sliding down an embankment. The driver had “over-corrected” after going off the west shoulder, then went across both lanes into a ditch off the northbound lane. The driver, who was ejected from the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released, but authorities said he was from Bowman, about 25 miles north of the South Dakota border.
