(Sioux Falls, SD) — A motorcyclist is dead after a collision with a semi-truck early Sunday morning. South Dakota Highway Patrol said in a news release it happened on Interstate 29 South in Sioux Falls near the 26th Street exit. According to the release, the motorcycle was behind the Freightliner Cascadia when the truck began slowing down to take the exit. The 2013 Victory Cross Country motorcycle crashed into the rear of the truck. The release did not include the motorcyclist’s identity, but did say he was 39-years-old. Both the driver and passenger in the semi-truck were uninjured.
