(Fargo, ND) — The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released its results from a distracted driving enforcement event they conducted on September 20th in Fargo. Part of the Buckle Up Phone Down enforcement campaign, 33 stops took place on I-29 and I-94 from 12:30-3:30 p.m to target distracted drivers. The NDHP issues nine distracted driver citations and seven for texting while driving, the two biggest offenders of the day. The campaign aims to ensure that people don’t drive distracted in the state, in hopes of limiting crashes.
