(Grand Forks, ND) — A Minnesota man is looking at 30 years behind bars after pleading guilty to charges he sexually abused four girls in Grand Forks County. Manuel Martinez of Moose Lake, Minnesota was sentenced Monday to 50 years in prison — 20 of them suspended. According to court documents, Martinez sexually abused the girls over a decade with the youngest victim being six-years-old. He is currently imprisoned in Minnesota for another sex-related crime he was convicted of in August 2022.
