(Minot, ND) — Minot’s Central Middle School is getting 24-hundred-dollars to help it build and maintain a food pantry. The grant, announced Wednesday, comes from the Minot Area Community Foundation. The money will go toward the purchase of shelving, a refrigerator, a freezer, and cooler bags for transporting food. The food pantry will support Central Middle School students who are in need. About half of the families at the school are at or below the poverty level.
