Red Flag Warning Across South Dakota

(Sioux Falls, SD) — A red flag warning has been extended to 8 p.m. Monday across most of the western and central parts of South Dakota. The South Dakota Department of Public Safety originally issued the warning from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m Sunday. The combination of strong winds, warm temperatures and low humidity contributed to the risk. The DPS is asking residents to burn outside or do anything that could start a fire.
