South Dakota Department of Human Services Gets Help Fighting Alzheimer’s

(Rapid City, SD) — The South Dakota Department of Human Services is receiving a one-million dollar grant from the Alzheimer’s Disease Program to help people with the disease. The grant will help improve support system for people with Alzheimer’s and the their caregivers, as well as access to necessary services. The Long Term Supports and Services of the DHS will start two pilot programs to help jumpstart the initiative. The programs will be in Belle Fourche and Aberdeen.
