(Nelson County, ND) — Three illegal immigrants are in custody after a traffic stop alerted authorities of a human trafficking operation. The three suspects were pulled over for speeding by Nelson County sheriff’s deputies last Saturday. According to court documents, the three were driving to the Lake Metigoshe area to pick up illegal immigrants and bring them to Illinois. The Border Patrol has booked them on multiple charges and the investigation continues.
