news

(Rapid City, SD) — Dry and windy conditions are going to keep up the high fire danger in South Dakota. Warm temps, low humidity, and strong winds continue to be a concern for western and central areas of the state headed into the weekend. Winds are forecasted to pick up even more on Saturday with gusts reaching up to 50 miles an hour from the northwest. The dry weather is likely to continue through the first half of October.
