(Moorhead, MN) — A Minnesota man is being accused of threatening to burn down a mosque in Moorhead. Court documents say 40-year-old Salih Kasim is being charged with attempted burglary and other crimes for an incident on September 26th at the Islamic Center on 12th Avenue South. Kasim allegedly tried to break into the mosque with a gas can and was threatening to burn the building down. He’s facing a maximum sentence of five years in prison.
