Minot Woman Gets Prison Time For Poisoning Boyfriend With Antifreeze

(Minot, ND) — A Minot woman is being sentenced to 25 years in prison for poisoning her boyfriend with antifreeze. Judge Richard Hagar on Tuesday upheld a plea agreement in the case against Ina Kenoyer, who pleaded guilty in May to murdering 51-year-old Steven Riley Jr., believing she would receive part of his multi-million-dollar inheritance upon his death. Investigators later learned that there likely was no inheritance. On Tuesday Kenoyer was sentenced to 50 years in prison with 25 years suspended.
