(Sioux Falls, SD) — Sioux Falls Regional Airport is enhancing its security. The TSA is introducing two new, state-of-the-art devices. The CAT-2 scanner uses facial recognition technology to identify passengers. Additionally, new CT checkpoint scanners provide 3D views of items inside luggage. Both devices are also expected to make getting through the gate easier for passengers.
