Two Men Arrested In Separate Casey’s Armed Robberies

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Sioux Falls Police say two arrests have been made in separate armed robberies at two different Casey’s gas station locations last week. A burglar alarm Friday morning around 2 a.m. led to the arrest of a Sioux Falls man at the East Rice Street location. Police say he was attempting to steal lottery tickets and cigarettes. The first armed robbery happened last Monday afternoon when a man entered the East 15th Street and South Sycamore Avenue Casey’s and held a knife against a store employee’s throat before leaving with cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of money. Police arrested 33-year-old Shadrich William Sides the following day on multiple charges, including first-degree robbery and aggravated assault.
