(Fargo, ND) — As the nighttime temperatures dip into the 30’s over the next few days, the Fargo City Commission is putting together a plan to shelter the homeless this winter. The Winter Warming Program served dozens of people last winter. Officials say the no camping ordinance simply moves camps to another location and is not a long-term strategy. They say the only real solution is permanent housing but that is hard to find. In the meantime the Winter Warming Program will reach out to the unsheltered.
